Death's Past of Children

I have seen so many lives past
From young to old
Every soul that comes to me
Are so pinful for me to see again

These lives have been suffered
Young adults to the elderly
But the one that gets me the most
Was the children of war

These children like their parents
Were taken out of their homes
From Jews to Communists
From Jews to Protestants

These cheerful Jewish children do not know
As they board the trucks to their young deaths
I wave to them
But I cry from this sight

Suddenly they are now in concentration camps
These beautiful souls are brutalized
From children to animals
My black heart shrivles and dies

Now these children are on the other side
I see them come through my gate
Each and everyone of them holds my boney fingers
As I walk them to the gates of Heaven

God and his angels cry from this sight
But hope will soon come to their parents
As the Allies comes near to the Nazis
Camps will be liberated

I just hope these children will play in God's fields
Waiting for their parents to come and play with them
These young souls are cheerful and yet so beautiful
But my heart still cries as they scream in the camps

Fear not children
You are away from the bad men now
You didn't deserve to die that way
But you deserved to be in this very place of peace and light
