The monster I am
Is the one I will always be
Alone and feared
With no one to love anymore

The vampires are loved
And so are the wolfmen
But what about a monster like me I ask?
Do I deserve love?

The people laugh and point
And say look at that freak
I'm like a caged animal
Tormented with pain

And when I do something good
The people hate me for it
They hate me no matter what I do
Like the monster I am

My scars will never heal
Like they did before
I am alone and for all eternity
The monster I am

I was made with the people's evil
They created me because they wanted to be God
But they view me as a mistake
No matter what I do

I am the monster everyone fears
But people do not fear the vampires and wolfmen
They are the beautiful people the people claim
Even though they have "minor" set backs

The vampires spit in my face
The wolfmen kick me into the dirt
The people laugh at the tormented moster
The monster I am

There' no love for me anymore
Why didn't I see that before
I am a monster and not beautiful
I am only feared

I see myself as a mistake too sometimes
Wondering why I'm even here when the people hate me
I come down from the isolated castle
And chased back up with pitch forks and torches

Get away from him the people would say
He is hideous and not one of us
The vampires and wolfmen smile in glory
As I am chased away

The darkness is my only home I claim
THe only friend I have
Alone in this very castle that used to be home
When my life hadn't turned upside down once more

My hands are cold and ugly
My face is horrid and fearful
Everything about me is wrong
No matter what I do

The monster I am
Is the monster I will always be
You win everyone and Cupid
I will not search for love anymore

I know my true purpose now
To be feared and hated
I was never meant to be love
